Arabica! My name is Sarah. I am a hydrogeologist with a focus in groundwater systems in arid environments. My passion is water sustainability, which is a huge emerging issue in the wake of climate change.
I started this blog as a way to talk about my two main passions, geology and Arabic, while also having an outlet for all the fun and beautiful things that fill up life. As I've made my way through my graduate school journey, I have used this blog to help me stay focused on the long-term goals as well as enjoy my interests, because work-life balance is so important. I know that a lot of you are going through the graduate school process and share a lot of the similar interests, and I hope that by sharing my ideas and projects, we can learn and laugh together.
